Gleneagles Guests

We at Gleneagles Mini Stud love to have people come to visit us or to inspect  our Stud and our small Miniature Galloway herd.  We also think its great when we can give advice or information to first time Miniature Galloway owners.  There has been several  buyers who travelled long distances and picked up calves that were born at Gleneagles Stud.  We have delivered calves as far as Sydney and Taree.

Gleneagles Grande G2 with Maddi

Here is the one of our grandaughters Maddi having a cuddle with Grande. She is a regular visitor to the stud and has helped in the process of hand feeding and training Grande as he has been growing up.

Maddi comes down to the farm from Sydney most school holidays and helps with all the farm chores.

Rusty is the bull without the hat.

Rusty loves a good scratch.

Kev helping in the Lucerne paddock

Lots of our visitors lend a helping hand on the farm.  There is always jobs to be done.

Here is Kev giving me a hand to pick up the bales of lucerne from one of our paddocks. This is only half the job done ...it (the bales of lucerne) have to be stacked in the hay shed before the job is fully finished. There are about 20 bales on board .....so only 5 loads to go.

Maddi helping in training Grande

Watch out he might step on your foot !... OOps ..too late.

As you can see here Grande doesn't mind where he puts his feet . Some times it is on Maddi's foot.

Fortunately there was no serious injury.......but Maddi still thinks joggers fall into the safety shoe category.

Paige helping in training Grande

Paige loves to come to visit us at Gleneagles Stud, she is one of our grandaughters and is also a regular guest most school holidays.

Here Paige is giving Grande a hay treat... and a pat.

Maddi helping in training Gleneagles Hosea H3

Maddi spends lots of hours just being with the cattle when she visits.

Here is an opportunity Maddi took to give Hosea some special attention.
